Iodectarianism

I want to coin a new word: "iodectarianism". It is the view that one must believe only right doctrines to be saved. It seems to me that iodectarians dominate the theological landscape today. For instance, many people will deny that you are truly Christian if you disbelieve the rapture. Now I think the Rapture is bad doctrine. But I don't think those who hold the view are less Christian than I am. This idea that all or nearly all the beliefs of a person must be correct to receive God's salvation seems totally wrong to me. It is clearly contradicted by scripture and good sense. It is also the biggest impediment to Christians working together.
