Off-Topic: Comic Book Reviews

Zenescope's WONDERLAND: ONGOING #15
This story just didn't "move" much for me. We are back to a repetitive pattern here. There is this sense that "something big" is going on, but what that might be is unclear. We have crossed the line from mysterious to cryptic.

DC's GREEN LANTERN #23.4/SINESTRO #1
This book had moments of real greatness, but the interplay of the events in the present and those in the past didn't quite work. The pacing was way off. Still, it was worth the buy.

DC's JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA # 7.4/ BLACK ADAM #1
WOW, what a comic book. This Black Adam one-off focused way more on a current day story and less on origins, and boy is it good. Black Adam is not unambiguously evil, and it looks like that aspect of his character will be used to great effect.
