Have you ever seen HIGHLANDER 2: THE QUICKENING? Don't, it's terrible. But it does have one moment where Ramirez (played by Sean Connery) sacrifices himself for his friend, summoning up a kind of magic. It is a moment of greatness in a sea of total suckage. This is the quote from that moment, and I say it to myself often:
"Most people have a full measure of life... and most people just watch it slowly drip away. But if you can summon it all up... at one time... in one place... you can accomplish something... glorious."
